Nick：「I'm Not Forced To Frown！」
Super Jonas Brothers fans realized that Nick doesn't smile a lot and that pictures of him showing his teeth are very hard to come by. So rumors swirled that Nick was getting paid by the record company not to flash his pearly whites.
However, Nick told Twist, 'next to my brothers. I'm the serious one, for sure. I'm just shy around cameras.' Joe added, 'Nick's just very focused! He's not getting paid to look serious, it's just the way he rolls.'
Jonas Brothers的Fans發現Nick並不常笑，且照片也鮮少有露齒的照片，因此大家懷疑是不是唱片公司要求Nick保持嚴肅的形象。
然而，今天(08/03/25)Nick在Joe跟Kevin面前告訴了Twist：「我的確是個比較嚴肅的人，在閃光燈前，也不免感到害羞！」Joe也補充說：「Nick真的非常容易受矚目，他並不是被要求要如此嚴肅，It's just the way he rolls！(這句話不用翻，大家影該最清楚是吧：）)」
